This is Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor with this week’s Crime Stopper report. 

Between September 24 and September 28 of this year, unknown suspects entered private property located on ACR 2713. Once inside they removed the following items.

8 saddles
Lincoln electric welding machine
Honda generator
Orange Kubota riding mower
Yellow Cub Cadet push lawn mower
Snapper push mower
Many tools
Crossbow
Three 30-30 caliber bolt action rifles
Craftsman air compressor
The value of this loss is $30,740.00 dollars.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1000. Dollars for information
leading to the arrest of these offenders.

 This is Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor with this week’s Crime Stopper report. 

Anderson County, along with all of East Texas, is experiencing an uptick of vehicle burglaries, along with tractor, trailer and ATV thefts.  To help prevent vehicle burglaries, please lock your vehicles and remove all valuables from them.  To help with tractor, trailer and ATV thefts please secure these items in locked barns or buildings.

As with all property crimes in cases of theft, please record pertinent information such as make, model and serial numbers.  This will help law enforcement in the attempt of recovery and the arrest of suspects.  Please report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood to your local law enforcement.

This is Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor with this week’s Crime Stopper report. 

In recent days the Sheriff’s Office has received numerous burglaries of vehicle reports on State Hwy 79, both east and west of Palestine.  The majority of the vehicles were unlocked and valuables such as money and firearms were taken from the vehicles.  As a precaution to prevent theft I urge all citizens to lock their vehicles and remove any valuables from them. 

If anyone has any info on the suspects in these cases please contact the Sheriff’s Office or call Crime Stoppers at 903-729-8477.  Remember, all calls are strictly confidential and you do not have to give your name.
